Junior Graphic Designer / Digital Operator - Worldwide Online Printing

- What are the mandatory portfolio requirements of the job?
* High level proficiency in InDesign and the Adobe software suite.

- What skills/experience does the job require?
* Pre-flighting and file checking prior to sending jobs to print.
* Design and changes to customer files.
* Digital printing and finishing.
* Quote and follow up.
* Liaise with customers and general administration duties.
* Customer liaison will be required and a sales and marketing focus would be an advantage.

- What portfolio pieces do you have that would be appropriate for this position?
* I would submit most of my work as the majority of it has been done in Indesign and exported in Abode suites. I would pick the best work I have, mostly the work I gained distinction marks from.
- Would a digital or print portfolio be best suited for this position? Both?
* I think both would be good, a digital one to send them and then a print one to show proof of my abilities in printing and pre-flight.

* All the other logos I have created that have been successful.

- Would a digital or print portfolio be best suited for this position? Both?
* A digital portfolio would be best as they ask for it and there is no reference or need for a print portfolio.

- What portfolio pieces do you have that would be appropriate for this position?
This job would be something I would love to be a part of in the future hopefully in the next 8-10 years, maybe more as I would like to look at more of a presentation side of things in the design industry, more of a social public relations position.

Would a digital or print portfolio be best suited for this position? Both?
I think both would be handy, sending a digital version with the CV, but when going for an interview bringing a print version to so commitment and that your willing to go above and beyond to produce a high standard of quality.
